Breezy Acres Bed and Breakfast is a traditional B&B. If you are new to the concept of B&B's, that means the home is owner-occupied and that the rooms, for the most part, are original to the house, and that the owners are your host and hostess. We, your hosts, are Joyce 'Joie' and David Barber. We've been operating our home as a B&B for almost 25 years! People ask us how we can do this kind of business for so long. Our answer is that we do not live any differently whether there are guests in the house or not, and that we thoroughly enjoy meeting all those who come through our door.

What do we offer our guests? To begin with, a warm and friendly greeting, followed by a tour of the house so as to acquaint you with all of the amenities. Many compliment us on the cleanliness of our home (and don't seem to mind the inevitable bit of clutter that accompanies a lived-in home). They also say how beautiful it is, but I have to leave that for you to decide. Both living room and family room have large flat-screen tv's and DVD players that you are welcome to use. There are comfy couches and lots of pillows and afghans to entice you to kick back and be cozy.

Breakfast is served in the dining room with its' large bay window overlooking the meadows and tree-covered hillside beyond. On weekends, a full, homemade three-course breakfast is served. Continental breakfast on weekdays seems just right for business travelers. Hunters who get up early have cereals, fruit, coffee, etc. laid out in the kitchen for them to help themselves. Upstairs, there are 3 individually decorated bedrooms, each with its own full bath. Full descriptions and photos are, again, found HERE.

In the summertime, you'll have the delightful choice of relaxing in a rocker on our old-fashioned pillared porches, or in a chaise on the deck. Surrounded by gorgeous gardens (yes, I can say that, just look at the PHOTOS) you'll feel stress just float away. Ok, ok, maybe it won't happen just like that, but we do think that you'll find sitting in the garden a restful experience.
